Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS/MYNN) is the largest and busiest airport in the Bahamas, serving the capital city of Nassau on New Providence Island. It handles the vast majority of international visitors arriving in the Bahamas by air and is a critical hub for Caribbean travel.
The airport was renamed in 2006 in honor of Sir Lynden Pindling, the first Prime Minister of the Bahamas, having previously been known as Nassau International Airport. A major redevelopment program completed around 2013 significantly modernized and expanded its facilities.
The airport serves numerous destinations across North America, the Caribbean, and beyond, connecting Nassau to major hub cities in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
