Noi Bai International Airport is the main international airport serving Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, located approximately 35 kilometers north of the city center in Soc Son District. It is one of the two largest airports in Vietnam, alongside Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.
The airport underwent significant expansion with the opening of Terminal 2 in 2015, designed by Japanese firm Nikken Sekkei, substantially increasing its capacity. It serves as the primary hub for Vietnam Airlines and a focus city for VietJet Air and Bamboo Airways.
