Brisbane Airport (BNE) is the primary international and domestic airport serving Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, Australia. It is located approximately 13 kilometres north-east of the Brisbane CBD, near the suburb of Eagle Farm, and operates 24 hours a day.
The airport is one of Australia's busiest, handling over 23 million passengers annually in pre-pandemic years. It serves as a major hub for both international and domestic travel, connecting Queensland to destinations across Asia, the Pacific, North America, and Europe.
Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) has operated the airport under a long-term lease from the Australian federal government since 1997. Significant investment in infrastructure has been made in the lead-up to the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games, including runway and terminal expansions.
