In April 2019, Jet Airways suspended all operations due to a severe financial crisis and mounting debt, grounding its entire fleet. Creditors took the airline through insolvency proceedings, and a consortium led by Jalan-Kalrock was approved to revive it. As of the mid-2020s, efforts to restart operations were ongoing but faced prolonged regulatory and financial hurdles.
