Condor has undergone significant ownership changes over the decades, having been part of the Thomas Cook Group before that company's collapse in 2019. Following an insolvency process, Condor was acquired by Polish aviation group Lot Aviation in 2021, which itself is backed by investment firm Indigo Partners. The airline successfully restructured and resumed growth under new ownership.
