Vladivostok International Airport (VVO/UHWW), officially named after explorer Nikolai Muravyov-Amursky, serves the city of Vladivostok and the broader Primorsky Krai region of Russia's Far East. Located near the city of Artyom, approximately 44 kilometers north of central Vladivostok, it is the largest and busiest airport in the Russian Far East.
The airport underwent significant reconstruction and expansion ahead of the 2012 APEC Summit hosted in Vladivostok, resulting in a modern international terminal. It serves as the primary hub for Aurora Airlines, the regional carrier of the Russian Far East, and handles connections to major Russian cities as well as international routes across Asia.
