Don Mueang International Airport is one of the world's oldest commercial airports, serving Bangkok, Thailand. Located approximately 24 kilometres north of the city centre, it reopened as a major international airport in 2007 after Suvarnabhumi Airport took over as Bangkok's primary hub. Today, Don Mueang primarily serves low-cost carriers and handles a significant volume of domestic and regional international traffic. It is a key hub for airlines such as Thai AirAsia, Thai Lion Air, and Nok Air, making it one of the busiest airports in Southeast Asia by passenger volume.
