flydubai is a low-cost carrier based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, established by the government of Dubai in 2008 and launching operations in 2009. It was created to open up underserved markets and stimulate traffic through Dubai International Airport, particularly serving destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe.
The airline operates an all-Boeing 737 fleet and has grown rapidly since its founding, serving well over 90 destinations across more than 50 countries. flydubai has a codeshare and commercial partnership with Emirates, enabling passengers to connect seamlessly between the two carriers.
