Air France

Air France is the national carrier of France and one of the world's largest airlines, operating an extensive network of flights to more than 170 destinations across five continents. Founded in 1933, the airline has grown from a regional European operator into a major global aviation group headquartered at Charles de Gaulle Airport near Paris. In 2004, Air France merged with Dutch carrier KLM to form Air France-KLM, one of the largest airline groups in the world by revenue and passenger numbers. The group operates under a dual-brand strategy, with each airline maintaining its own identity, hub, and operations while sharing commercial and operational synergies. Air France is a founding member of the SkyTeam global airline alliance and is known for its premium cabin products, including La Première first class and Business class suites on long-haul routes. The airline has also been expanding its sustainability initiatives, investing in more fuel-efficient aircraft and sustainable aviation fuels.
