Jharsuguda Airport

Jharsuguda Airport, officially known as Veer Surendra Sai Airport, is a regional airport located in Jharsuguda district of Odisha, one of the state's major industrial and mining hubs. The airport was inaugurated in September 2018 under the Government of India's UDAN regional connectivity scheme, making air travel accessible to western Odisha for the first time. Situated at an elevation of 751 feet above mean sea level, it serves as a vital air link for the coal belt region and supports the business travel needs of industries such as power, steel, and aluminium.
