The domestic terminal at AMD has improved a lot over the past couple of years — floors are clean and the signage is clear. Security queues during peak morning hours can get chaotic though, especially around 5-6 AM when multiple flights depart together. The free WiFi kept dropping every 10 minutes which was frustrating when I needed to finish some work before boarding. Food options are decent but overpriced, as expected at any Indian airport honestly.

Was pleasantly surprised by how spotless the international departure area was when I flew to Dubai last month — washrooms were clean and well-stocked throughout my wait. The ground staff at the IndiGo counter were helpful when I had a luggage query. My only real complaint is the drop-off situation outside — the traffic management is a complete mess during evenings and our cab was stuck for nearly 20 minutes just to reach the entrance.

Flew out of Ahmedabad for a work trip to Mumbai and honestly the food choices inside are quite disappointing for a city known for its amazing cuisine — one sad Gujarali thali counter and an overpriced café. Security was efficient and I cleared in under 10 minutes which I appreciated. Parking rates have gone up again and the short-stay lot fills up quickly on weekends, so plan accordingly if you're picking someone up.
