Getting around: Getting around Saurimo relies primarily on shared minibus taxis (known locally as candongueiros) and privately hired taxis negotiated directly with drivers. There is no rideshare app infrastructure, and no functional passenger rail service. Motorcycle taxis operate on some routes. For travel to surrounding areas, renting a four-wheel-drive vehicle is strongly advised given unpaved roads.
