Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport (TNT/KTNT) is a public-use airport located in the western Everglades region of Miami-Dade County, Florida. It was originally constructed as a backup commercial airport to relieve traffic from Miami International Airport but was never developed for that purpose. Today, the airport serves primarily as a training facility for pilots and aviation students, as well as for cargo and general aviation operations. Its remote location amid the Everglades makes it ideal for flight training with minimal air traffic conflicts.
