Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), officially designated Marion E. Carl Field, is a United States military airfield located on the windward side of Oahu, Hawaii. It serves as the primary air installation for Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) and supports rotary-wing and fixed-wing military aviation operations.
The field is named in honor of Brigadier General Marion E. Carl, a celebrated Marine Corps aviator and decorated World War II ace. The station has historically played a significant role in Pacific defense operations and continues to support U.S. Indo-Pacific Command missions.
As a military installation, the airfield is not open to commercial passenger traffic. The IATA code NGF and ICAO code PHNG are used primarily for flight planning and military aviation purposes.
