Luxembourg-Findel International Airport (LUX) is the only international airport in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, located approximately 6 kilometres east of Luxembourg City. It serves as the primary hub for Luxair, the national carrier, and is a major cargo hub for Cargolux, one of Europe's largest all-cargo airlines.
The airport underwent significant modernisation and expansion in the 2000s, with a new passenger terminal opened in 2008 to handle growing traffic. Despite the small size of Luxembourg, Findel connects the country to numerous European and international destinations.
