Little Rock Air Force Base (KLRF/LRF) is a United States Air Force installation located near Jacksonville, Arkansas, approximately 17 miles northeast of downtown Little Rock. It serves as the Air Force's primary C-130 Hercules training center and is home to the 19th Airlift Wing, one of the largest airlift wings in the Air Force.
The base hosts a large fleet of C-130H and C-130J aircraft and provides tactical airlift training for aircrews from the United States and allied nations. As a military installation, it does not serve commercial airline passengers.
Little Rock AFB plays a strategic role in global airlift operations and has been a key installation in supporting operations in Southwest Asia, Europe, and other theaters. The base contributes significantly to the local economy of central Arkansas.
