Cameri Air Base (ICAO: LIMN) is a military airfield located near Cameri in the Province of Novara, in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It serves as a primary installation of the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare) and hosts the 1st Wing (1° Stormo), which operates combat aircraft in support of national defense and NATO missions.
The base is internationally significant as the site of the FACO (Final Assembly and Check Out) facility for the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II in Europe. This facility, operated by Leonardo S.p.A. (formerly Alenia Aermacchi), assembles F-35 aircraft not only for Italy but also for other European partner nations. It represents one of the most strategically important aerospace manufacturing sites on the continent.
Cameri does not serve commercial passenger traffic and is not accessible to the general public. Its operations are strictly military and defense-industrial in nature.
