Khrabrovo Airport is the main commercial airport serving Kaliningrad, the administrative center of Russia's Kaliningrad Oblast, an exclave situated on the Baltic Sea between Poland and Lithuania. The airport is located approximately 24 kilometers north of the city center, near the town of Khrabrovo, from which it takes its name.
The airport handles both domestic Russian routes and international flights, serving as a critical transport link for the geographically isolated exclave. Given Kaliningrad's separation from mainland Russia, air travel is especially important for residents and visitors who cannot easily travel overland through EU member states.
Khrabrovo has undergone modernization efforts in recent years, with upgrades to its terminal infrastructure to accommodate growing passenger traffic. However, international sanctions and airspace restrictions following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022 have significantly impacted international flight operations.
Terminals
The airport operates a single passenger terminal that handles both domestic and international flights.
Getting to & from
Bus and taxi services connect the airport to Kaliningrad city center, with the journey taking approximately 30–40 minutes.
