Kamina Air Base (ICAO: FZSA) is a military airfield located near Lumwe in the Haut-Lomami Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in the historical Katanga region. It was a significant installation during the colonial era and saw considerable activity during the Congo Crisis of the early 1960s.
The base has historically served the Congolese national armed forces (FARDC) and has been used for logistical and military operations in the region. Its remote location in south-central Congo makes it strategically important for controlling the interior of the country.
Kamina does not currently function as a commercial passenger airport, and there are no scheduled airline services operating from the facility. It remains primarily a military asset.
