Ramon International Airport (IATA: ETM, ICAO: LLER) is a modern international airport located near Eilat in southern Israel, in the Timna Valley. It was purpose-built to replace the two aging airports that previously served the region — Eilat Airport (ETH) and Ovda Airport (VDA) — consolidating air traffic into a single, more capable facility.
The airport serves both domestic and international routes, connecting Eilat's resort destination to major Israeli cities as well as European leisure markets. It is situated approximately 18 kilometers north of Eilat city center, in a desert landscape near the Jordanian border.
The facility is equipped with modern terminal infrastructure capable of handling a significant volume of passengers and features runways suitable for narrow-body and wide-body commercial aircraft. Its opening marked a significant upgrade in aviation infrastructure for the Negev and Arava regions of Israel.
