Faßberg Air Base (ICAO: ETHS) is a military airfield located near the town of Faßberg in Lower Saxony, Germany. It has served as an installation of the German Bundeswehr and was previously used by NATO forces during the Cold War era.
The base has historical roots dating back to World War II, when it was established as a Luftwaffe facility. It later gained significant historical importance as one of the airfields used during the Berlin Airlift of 1948–1949, when Allied forces airlifted supplies into West Berlin.
