Moss Airport, Rygge (ICAO: ENRY) is a former dual-use military and commercial airport located near Rygge in Østfold county, approximately 60 kilometres south of Oslo, Norway. It operated as a civilian commercial airport alongside its military functions, primarily serving budget carriers targeting the greater Oslo travel market.
The airport's commercial operations were suspended in November 2016 after Ryanair, its primary airline, withdrew services following the introduction of a Norwegian passenger tax that made operations economically unviable. The Norwegian Armed Forces continue to use the facility as Rygge Air Station (RAS), maintaining its military function.
Despite its closure to commercial traffic, the airport had grown considerably during its operational years, handling over two million passengers annually at its peak. Discussions about potentially reopening the airport to commercial traffic have periodically emerged but had not resulted in resumed civilian operations as of the early 2020s.
