Neuhardenberg Marxwalde Airfield, designated ICAO code EDON, is a general aviation airfield located near the town of Neuhardenberg in the state of Brandenburg, eastern Germany. The site lies roughly 70 kilometres east of Berlin, close to the Polish border.
The airfield was originally constructed as a Soviet and East German military installation during the Cold War era, known under its military name Marxwalde. Following German reunification in 1990, Soviet forces withdrew and the facility was repurposed for civilian general aviation use.
Today the airfield serves private pilots, glider operations, parachuting clubs, and occasional special events. It is not served by scheduled commercial airlines and has no passenger terminal infrastructure in the conventional sense.
