Eldoret International Airport (EDL/HKEL) is located approximately 15 kilometres from Eldoret city centre in Uasin Gishu County, Kenya. Situated at an elevation of roughly 2,073 metres (6,800 feet) above sea level, it is one of the highest-altitude international airports in Africa.
