Wevelgem is a small Flemish municipality in the West Flanders province of Belgium, situated between the larger cities of Kortrijk and Menen. Getting around: Wevelgem has its own train station with regular NMBS/SNCB connections to Kortrijk and Ghent, making rail the easiest arrival option. The town and surroundings are extremely bike-friendly, and renting a bicycle is the ideal way to explore.

Best time: Late March to early April is ideal, coinciding with the Gent–Wevelgem race and mild spring weather perfect for cycling.
