Beja Airport, also known as Beja Air Base (BA11), is a joint civil-military aerodrome located in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal. It serves the city of Beja and was developed to attract low-cost and charter traffic to the region, supplementing busier Portuguese airports.
The airport underwent significant infrastructure investment in the 2000s to enable commercial operations, with a modern passenger terminal constructed to handle civilian flights. Despite high hopes, sustained commercial air service has proven difficult to establish and maintain.
