The Bombardier Global Express is an ultra-long-range business jet developed by Bombardier Aerospace and introduced in the late 1990s. Designed to fly nonstop between distant city pairs such as New York and Tokyo, it became one of the most capable and prestigious large-cabin business jets in the world upon its entry into service. The aircraft features a wide, three-zone cabin that can be configured for sleeping, dining, and office work, accommodating up to 19 passengers in various layouts. It is powered by two Rolls-Royce BR710 turbofan engines mounted at the rear of the fuselage. The Global Express spawned a successful family of derivatives, including the Global 5000, Global 6000, and later the Global 7500 and 8000. It is widely operated by corporate flight departments, charter companies, and government and military customers around the world.
