With the changing pattern of the international economics, politics and industry in the post-globalization period, a tremendous rise in the number of flights both outbound and inbound are perceived. Busy business executives are found to travel in order to conduct business more frequently. Keeping the time consideration in view the best possible way to do is to use an executive jet that saves both time and energy. In the age when Internet has become a daily affair and with the click of the mouse the entire planet with all its aspects come to you, no business tends to be trivial even if you do operate from your home. Perhaps yours is a global company whose clients are located worldwide, and commercial flights leave you far from where you need to be for business meetings. Through both private or commercial flight you can avail satisfactorily.
With the enhancement in the number of flights a great change is being perceived in the airports too. The airports are no longer in the same manner that used to be in the past. A blunt look, a small resting place and indifferent officials that once used to be the jewels of the airports. In respect of both transport and resting space they, be it the international airports at New York, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore or in any other part of the world, have undergone complete overhauls in the recent years. More and more the airports are being looked upon as the perfect gateway to the foreign nationals, either in the form of Governmental delegations or simple tourists. With this view in mind the respective Governments are keeping no stone unturned in galvanizing the airports from all respects, the services and the security. However, the western world being the progenitor of mercantile capitalism has been witnessing this from the past while it is a novel experience for the Asian giants whose national indexes an economic graph are reaching an all time high in the present decade.
In the same manner the Civil Aviation of India has been estimated as one of the fastest growing segment of India’s transport infrastructure and is therefore playing a very significant role by and large through the means of providing connectivity. According to the study reports, there have been projections for both passenger & cargo traffic growth in spite of being coupled with the scarce & lagging airport & sordid Infrastructure. In the Indian perspective, the rising need of world-class gateway Airports with the provision of aviation services of global standards are in the need of a perfect climate of infrastructural development. The Governmental initiative though perceived but in a minuscule figure to what is expected. This ahs brought the Corporate honchos into the periphery with the intention of transforming the airports by the public private partnership into the Gateways of the Modern India.
Statistics available from the ascendancy of the passenger traffic by 25-30 per cent along with the high expectation of its growth by 25 per cent per year over the time frame of the next five years seems to be no longer a distant dream. There are other faces also. The national statistics percolate that of the total number of 450 airports and airstrips in the country (including the ones managed by Defence Services, State Governments and Private Parties) there has been a colossal uneven development. The Airports Authority of India though manage 125 of the total strength, 85% of total passenger traffic gets handled by 10 airports and also 80% total revenue is generated by these 10 airports. Delhi & Mumbai being the two major gateways account for 49% of total passenger traffic and 33% of total revenue. The confusion remains that for the generation of lion’s share of revenues by a very few others are not paid the due attention, resulting in the degradation of the national infrastructure.
